Miles Vogt

Through training on club and high school teams, and a deep joy of being in the water, I have made a good start in developing my abilities in mid- to long-distance freestyle and backstroke events. I am a late-blooming athlete that is passionate about making swimming part of my college experience, and I am seeking a team that will help me continue to develop and maximize my potential.

Recent Season Highlights

Coming out of 2023-24, where I attended a semester school in North Carolina in the Fall (The Outdoor Academy) and therefore only competed for my HS team that Winter, I wanted to maximize my opportunity for success in the 2024-25 season. I attended the Total Performance Swim Camp at Kenyon College early in the Summer & swam throughout the Summer and Fall with my club team – Upper Valley Aquatic Center. I dropped time in all of my events, qualified for regional championships in the Winter & Spring, and contributed to my HS team taking 2nd place in the State Championships.

The 2025-26 season is going well: I attended the Elite Instruction Camp for Backstroke at Bates College in June, have started worked with a new head coach on my club team, and I look forward to serving as the captain of my high school team this winter.
